WHAT IS SWEET CINEMA
We are a Uruguayan audiovisual production company with a fresh and sensitive look. We feel the call to accompany the new voices of cinema, getting involved in the gratifying path of bringing ideas and stories to the screen with sweetness and determination.
We get involved in each project attending to the specific needs of each one, being our priority to develop a collective process and continuous improvement.

FACUNDO UMPIERREZ
FOUNDER, PRODUCER
Uruguay, 1993. Produces and develops several short films, video clips and projects that are selected at different national and international festivals, including Berlinale, Guadalajara and Short Film Corner Cannes.
ILEN JUAMBELTZ
D.E.P. DEVELOPMENTAL
Uruguay, 1994. Screenwriter and filmmaker graduated from the Filmmaking Career at ECU. She has directed and exhibited several award-winning short films. In 2021 she directed one of the stories of the international Netflix docu-series "Stories of a generation with Pope Francis". She is currently working on the development of her feature film "Ese todo que es solo mio" with Montelona Cine and co-writing the Colombian series "Fin de mes", both projects selected in the “Curso de Desarrollo de Proyectos Audiovisuales Iberoamericanos”.
