WHAT IS SWEET CINEMA
We are a Uruguayan audiovisual production company with a fresh and sensitive look. We feel the call to accompany the new voices of cinema, getting involved in the gratifying path of bringing ideas and stories to the screen with sweetness and determination.
We get involved in each project attending to the specific needs of each one, being our priority to develop a collective process and continuous improvement.

FACUNDO UMPIERREZ
FOUNDER, PRODUCER
Uruguay, 1993. He produces and develops short films, video clips and feature films. His short films have been selected for different national and international festivals, including Berlinale, Palm Springs, BAFICI and Tampere. He has won more than twenty international awards, including the Colón de Plata at Huelva, Best Ibero-American Short Film at Premios Pávez, Best Youth Short Film at Ale Kino and Cinemira, and Special Mention at Biarritz, Dublin and Shorts Mexico.
ILEN JUAMBELTZ
D.E.P. DEVELOPMENTAL
Uruguay, 1994. Screenwriter and director. Her works have been awarded and selected in dozens of festivals including Berlinale, Biarritz, Guadalajara, BAFICI, LALIFF. She directed "Stories of a Generation" for Netflix. He is trained in prestigious international spaces such as Campus Málaga Talents, Ibermedia's Audiovisual Project Development Course, Extremadura Film Residency, among others.
